In July we managed to find a break from the rain and despite the cold, completed the Exton treasure trail.

We warmed up afterwards with coffee and cake at the cafe at Barnsdale Gardens.

In July, a group went to Tolethorpe Open Air Theatre to see Blue Stockings, performed by The Rutland Youth Theatre.

A few of our members enjoyed a trial session of Nordic walking - providing the participants with a full body workout - and felt the local instructor was excellent.

Despite the wet weather, our members enjoyed a visit to Tolethorpe Hall and a backstage tour of the open air theatre.

Social Sixes - an initiative instigated during COVID times, when Government guidelines meant we could only meet in groups of six - were revived in the autumn. Members can get to know each other and learn more about the WI from the group host, who is a always a committee member.
